Will I have to pay a fine when overstay my UAE e-visa?

It is crucial to always keep in mind the date of your visa expiration, regardless of whether you are in the UAE on a visit, tourist, or residency visa. This is due to the fact that if you overstay your visa, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) may impose fines on you.

If a visitor overstays their pre-paid or on-arrival UAE visit visa, they will be fined 50 AED. Beginning on October 14, 2022, the overstaying penalty under the UAE ICP will be standardized. You will be fined AED 50 per day under the new laws if you overstay a visitor, tourist, or resident visa. Overstaying residents will now be assessed a daily fee of AED 50.

To avoid these complications, it is highly recommended to adhere to the visa regulations and exit the UAE before your e-visa's expiration date.
